Spur Ventures is a plant nutrient manufacturer and marketer with majority interests in two Chinese joint ventures, one of which has an interest in two phosphate deposits in Hubei Province, and the other a fertilizer manufacturing plant located close by the deposits in the city of Yidu.

Spur plans to supply an expanding chemical complex that will produce compound fertilizers with phosphate rock from the two deposits.

Given the fragmented state of the Chinese fertilizer industry, Spur also plans to take advantage of its expertise and capability to raise funds in order to acquire additional assets and enhance shareholder value.

Spur's mission statement is to become the fastest growing integrated supplier of plant nutrients for the Chinese farmer.

Spur is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, has a management office located in Beijing and two joint ventures in Hubei Province China.
